Why was the Constitution written to replace the Articles of Confederation?
Answer: to pay off the war debt.

If no state can impair the obligation of contracts, Article 1, section 10, how did you get the “right” to be irresponsible and not pay your debts?
Answer: bankruptcy is a privilege of being a destitute ward of the federal government.
